Izui Sensei's "Freddie The Bungler"
For decades Mr. George Izui Sensei instructed students in the MWKF about the finer points of Kendo and about the finer points of life. His self-effacing nature and tough inner spirit couple to form the archetype of a Kendo Sensei. He taught us with his knowledge and insight, but for the most important things in life, he taught by the most difficult means of all, he taught us by example.
Izui Sensei was the warrior and artist combined in one soul. MWKF students have long been taught etiquette by "Freddie the Bungler." Finally, these cartoon line drawings, all original Izui Sensei's, have been gathered and are currently being prepared to be offered for the world to see on the Web.
