MWKF Members who are planning to try for any rank from sankyu to yondan, will have to apply with these current forms and send them in before the cut off date to our Vice President of promotions. Currently that is Mr. Dale Umeki. Our next planned exam will be in conjunction with the MWKF Kendo Tournament. That will be February 16th, 2008 in Birmingham, Michigan. The application is here:

For any Yudansha MWKF member who is contemplating taken a 5th dan exam or higher at the national level, you must watch here for the bi-annual (sometimes more) announcements where the AUSKF has decided to hold a Kodansha exam. This exam requires a testing board of high rank sensei, and is normally held in the same timing as a AUSKF board meeting, and that could be anywhere in the USA. The next meeting is to be announced.
