2010 MWKF Student Tournament Results.
The MSU kendo club hosted the 3'd annual MWKF student tournament. The tournament was held May 18, 2010 at the IM West sports arena.
About 37 competitors vied for positions in four divisions. After the tournament concluded, a practice was held amongst all of the competitors and tournament staff. Special thanks to those who competed, those who officiated and those who organized and helped the tournament run smoothly.

2009 MWKF Tournament
Chicago Kendo Dojo will be hosting the 2009 MWKF tournament. See Tournament information for applications for the tournament and for the testing.
The tournament will be held on Saturday November 14, 2009. Promotional testing will be on Sunday November 15, 2009. The tournament packet includes information about acommodations and the tournament site.
2009 MWKF Summer camp.
The 2009 MWKF summer camp will be held at Michigan State University from the evening of Friday August 7 through approximately noon Sunday August 9.
Camp fees include three meals on Saturday, Breakfast and Lunch on Sunday, lodging at the Wilson Halls dormitory on the campus at M.S.U. as well as participation in all kendo instructional events.
Yamanaka Shigeki (Hanshi 8-dan), and Saito sensei (Kyoshi 8-dan) will be returning once more as MWKF Summer camp guest instructors.

2009 Detroit Kendo Tournament Results
The 2009 Detroit kendo tournament was a great success. All who participated enjoyed themselves greatly. The seminar with Sakaguchi sensei was a wonderful development of how to practice kihon and kirikaeshi. It is alway awe insprinig to see a gym full of over 200 kenshi practicing the art we all love.
